Police seized about 5 million meth pills and shot dead an Akha hill tribe man who allegedly resisted arrest on a Chiang Rai road early on Thursday.

Police have arrested a hill-tribe Akha man after he allegedly delivered 28 kilograms of crystal meth ¬- or “ice” - to an undercover officer in Chiang Rai.
